WARISAN Sabah President, Datuk Seri Panglima Mohd Shafie Apdal is moved by the unity he sees within Warisan and its allies in Warisan Plus consisting of UPKO, DAP, PKR and Amanah.
He expresses his gratitude to the assistance rendered by ex-ministers who were not selected to contest in the upcoming Sabah snap polls where 73 State Legislative Assembly seats will be contested.
“Although they are not running, they are busy going around and telling people to vote for Warisan,” he said at Tanjung Lipat where he attended a Dialogue with youths on the Unity Movement.
Also present at the event are Muar member of Parliament, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and Penampang member of Parliament, Datuk Darell Leiking who is also a candidate for Moyog replacing Jenifer Lasimbang.
Mohd Shafie during the interview with members of the media also expressed his confidence of winning the Sabah polls which has garnered over 400 candidates.
Warisan Sabah fielded the second highest number of candidates at 53, while its allies UPKO fielded 12 candidates, PKR seven candidates and Amanah Negara one candidate. DAP has earlier decided to contest under the Warisan Sabah banner.
