GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CESTCHEM 9090 is a proprietary cleaner formulation developed to address the fouling of ultrafiltration membrane system. The product is different from the generic cleaners for RO or NF membranes and might compliment the cleaning program in the upstream ultrafiltration membrane. It helps to remove the mineral scales such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate and other metal foulant normally coat or clog the ultrafiltration membrane during the service life of the ultrafiltration system. Cestchem 9090 offers a one-step cleaning process in various types of membranes that is struggling to maintain the flux rate as well as prolonging the membrane replacement period.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
CESTCHEM 9090 can be mixed with reverse osmosis permeate, oxidant-free water or demineralized water in CIP tank. Normally, no further pH adjustment in the solution preparation process and the cleaning solution can be flushed and back flushed to the membrane system..

DOSAGE AND CONTROL
Prepare a 1 – 2% w/w cleaning solution depending on severity of fouling. Recirculate the cleaning solution as appropriate to achieve a desirable cleaning result. Our representative shall assist in the cleaning process and advise on the proper control requirements for your specific system.

PRODUCT HANDLING INFORMATION
CESTCHEM 9090 is corrosive and might cause irritation to eyes and skin. Use proper safety apparatus such as goggles and PVC gloves when handling. In case of contact with skin and/or eyes, flush the affected area with plenty of water.

REGULATORY INFORMATION
CESTCHEM 9090 is formulated with ingredients complying with ANSI/NSF Standard 60 for use in off line membrane cleaning systems.
