GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CESTCHEM 7442CE is formulated as an additive to liquid caustic soda solutions. CESTCHEM 7442CE is fully soluble, compatible & stable in very high concentrations of caustic soda. It is designed to increase the rinsability of caustic solutions used in CIP cleaning and used extensively in spiral head exchanger, shell & tube vessel to remove the polymerisation deposit. All in all, it restores the system flow rate and save fuel oil or steam consumption indirectly.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
CESTCHEM 7442CE is used at 1:13 part of liquid caustic soda 48% (1% = w/v). The concentration of CESTCHEM 7442CE can be adjusted depends on seriousness of the polymerization. CESTCHEM 7442CE should be added into liquid caustic soda solution gradually by using a caustic resistant pump to circulate the mixture within the system. Meanwhile CIP storage tanks should be constructed of corrosion resistant material such as fibreglass, PVC, HDPE or rubber lined. Piping and valves must also be made of corrosion resistant material such as PVC or Teflon.

PRODUCT HANDLING AND STORAGE
When handling CESTCHEM 7442CE, wear eye protective glasses, rubber gloves and protective clothing. In case of contact with eyes, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For skin contact, flush contact area with plenty of water. If leakage occurs, flush with plenty of water and neutralize with lime. PRODUCT REGULATORY INFORMATION
This product is acceptable as a degreaser or carbon remover for food cooking or smoking equipment, utensils, or other associated surfaces (A8) in and around food processing areas, where its use is not intended for direct food contact. Use of this product in food processing or handling facilities requires that all food products and packaging materials be removed or protected prior to product use. A potable water rinse of cleaned surfaces is required after use of this product. When used according to manufacturer’s instructions, the cleaner shall neither exhibit a noticeable odour nor leave a visible residue.
