Towards an OKU-friendly Penampang township – how one man is trying to make that happen

Shortly after Francis Xavier Kinjin’s story was highlighted by the local newspaper publisher, he received a comment on his Facebook account, telling him to just be happy with the welfare assistance rendered to him by the government and just stay low and possibly, abstain from voicing the plight of the disabled community in Penampang.

I guess, for some people, that is the same as telling them to stop dreaming of better days ahead, which is sad since it is in the nature of people to keep on struggling in the face of adversity and strive for a brighter future.
